To celebrate its 40th anniversary, and in conjunction with the Bind 19
Australian National Conference for Bookbinders, the NSW Guild of
Craft Bookbinders is planning an exhibition of members’ and former
members’ books. The exhibition will showcase the breadth of work
undertaken over the past 40 years.
The NSW Guild is inviting all current and former members to submit
a binding. Relatives of deceased members are welcome to submit an
example in remembrance of that member’s engagement with the craft.
We are looking for a range of work including traditional bindings,
design bindings, modern binding structures, restoration pieces and
enclosures. New members are encouraged to submit a work. Books may
be blank.
This is not a competition. There is no charge to participate. There will
be a catalogue produced which will be on sale during the exhibition.
The exhibition will be at the NSW Guild bindery in Rozelle from
18 October – 10 November 2019.

Books must arrive at the Guild bindery by 18 September. Download the entry form now.
